Thank you for your interest in our website. You may be asked to give us personal details at certain points on this site. The provision of such information is entirely at your own discretion. We declare that all personal information will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

The privacy policy will be referred to wherever personal details are requested.

Class Booking Terms and Conditions

 
General
 
1. All group exercises classes can be booked online. Booking is based on a "first come, first served" basis and there are no preferential booking windows for specific membership types.
 
2. Members who book in advance are guaranteed a space at their class, over members who have not booked.
 
3. As a service standard we recommend that you book online to guarantee your place in the class. Members who choose not to book in advance do so at their own risk.
 
4. Advance bookings can be made 7 days in advance for Direct Debit and Annual members, 6 days for Casual or Pay as You Go members. All bookings will open at 6.30am.
 
5. Classes cannot be booked for more than one person.
 
6. If a class is full you must visit the centre or contact us by telephone to add your name to the waiting list.
 
7. Once a space becomes available you will be contacted by the Sports Centre.
 
8. Members will receive an automated confirmation email of successful booking. We advise that this is retained.
 
9. If the member has not booked they must let reception know they are attending the class.
 
10. Advance booking online requires an active internet connection or access to a computer or device which will allow such connections. Bookings are made via the secure online member's area accessed through the Sports Centre website. You can log in to the members area at www.impingtonsportscentre.co.uk.
 
11. If a member does not have the ability to book a class online then they may book via the terminal or reception desk within the Sports Centre. All other conditions of the online booking system apply.
 
12. You can choose to book a class and pay later when not booking at reception, please note that your access card will not allow access to the centre until the balance is paid.
 
13. All normal Impington Sports Centre terms and conditions of membership apply. These can be found on the website.
 
14. By accessing and using the class booking system you indicate that you accept the terms and conditions of the website.


Bookings
 
1. Booking rights follow subscription membership rights; for instance junior gym members will not be permitted to book classes in line with the terms of their membership only Junior Gym sessions will be bookable for this membership type.
 
2. Guests of members can book a class on the day if there is available space. You should contact reception to arrange this as it cannot be booked online. Normal class fees may apply.
 
3. Only memberships which are paid to date are eligible to book online. Should you find that you cannot book online then please contact reception to discuss your membership.
 
4. Bookings can only be made by those who hold an Impington Sports Centre leisure card.
 
5. If the class you are booking has a fee; this must be paid online in advance. Occasionally payment may be required at reception.

 
Cancellations
 
1. If a booking needs to be cancelled then this can be completed no later than 4 hours before the class start time.
 
2. You will only be permitted to cancel by telephone if your class was booked originally at the Sports Centre. Classes booked online must be cancelled online through the member's area.
 
3. On occasion it may be necessary for a class to be cancelled or for the class type, instructor or location to be changed. Impington Sports Centre reserves the right to do this at any time. Where possible advance notice to those members who have booked the affected class will be given, however this may not always be possible.
 
4. If a class is not cancelled (no show) or cancelled with less than 4 hours’ notice for 3 times or more in any one period, the member will lose their advance booking rights for seven days.
 
5. Chargeable classes that are not cancelled will result in the class fee being charged.
6. Management will monitor abuse on a monthly basis through an exception report. Members who continually book then cancel may receive a warning or lose their advance booking rights.
 
7. Members on the reserve list will be placed on the register if a space becomes available in the order of reservation and will receive an e-mail confirming this.
